The Barrie Storm Prediction Center (BSPC) is a service that issues Severe Thunderstorm
and Tornado Watches during the Summer and Winter Storm Watches for the Winter for
the Barrie area. Their mission is to provide timely accurate forecasts of Severe Thunderstorms, Tornadoes and Winter Storms. The BSPC also monitors heavy rain, heavy snow and other
hazards across the Barrie area and then issues specific products for those hazards.
